Seattle Storm face Connecticut Sun
The Seattle Storm is coming of a win on the 24th against the Minnesota Lynx with a score of 65-55 at home and the game before that they beat Tulsa in Oklahoma with a final score of 82-77 which to be honest was not that impressive at all considering that Tulsa can`t seem to beat anyone, but that is a whole different story, the Storm is riding high on confidence and look to continue the good play come Friday when they face the Connecticut Sun in the Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Connecticut Sun are happy that they won on the 28th that helped them break their two game losing streak that they had going, but to be honest it was not an convincing win they got over the Los Angeles Sparks.
Yes they won the game 79-76, but the Sparks was a team that was playing without their best player which is Candace Parker who suffered an injury earlier on in the week and the line of the game even reflected that the Sparks were short handed with the Sun being favorite by 6.5 points and they took command early in the game, but let the Sparks back into the game with poor defending and good shooting from the team from the West Coast. In the end the Sun won the game after they were even down at times in the last quarter, but they managed to pull back and tie the game and in the end when the final whistle was blown it was the Sun that walked away with the Win with a score of 79-76. In all fairness to the Sparks they played a great game and I think that they proved how weak the Connecticut Sun are at defending and that even though they have home court advantage that one is able of coming into their domain and beating them for a road win. It will be interesting to see if the Connecticut Sun can improve on their play because if they play like they did against the Sparks then I can see the Seattle Storm taking them by surprise and winning the game.
