After twenty days of hard and intense competition, things must go to an end. The sweet final of the Copa America just arrived with a game that nobody in the soccer world community expected. Uruguay with a lot of looseness beat Peru in the semi-finals, booking their ticket to Buenos Aires. Meanwhile, Paraguay tied with Venezuela the whole game and won their ticket on penalty shots.

The game will take place on the just closed stadium “El Monumental”, remember that a one month ago or so RiverPlate got descended to the second division, making the crowd went out of their mind and crazy incidents that made the authorities closed this magnificent venue for the Copa America except for the final. It’s true Uruguay is the only team which deserves to be in the final, from the beginning of the tournament they have been very consistent with their way to play and deal with opponents. Paraguay hasn’t won a single game how come a team like this gets to the final? Don’t really no, absolutely ridiculous. When they played with Venezuela I noticed that the only thing they really practiced was in how to shoot penalty shots, that’s it. They just hide on their area repelling any arrival from Venezuela and giving the ball away, they forgot how to build offensive plays and the importance of keeping the ball. Things that for sure, Uruguay´s coach Oscar Tabarez already knew. So if they don’t change their soccer style for Sunday they could live hell. On the last games, Luis Suarez has become a vital striker, who is always in the right spot just to kick the ball and score. It’s interesting that his presence is joined with the ball control of Forlan, undoubtedly, two players who set the difference for Uruguay making the offense a much consolidated line. Tabarez stated: He [Suarez] is an elite player in world football. We talked about having more presence up top. That is how we got the first goal. Forlan and Suarez appeared. After that, Peru kept attacking, but we had it under control.. The worst thing for a defense tying to handle these two is that they are very unpredictable; you don’t know what they are going do. Sometimes they go with a deep pass, sometimes they go through the side, or even sometimes they forget about each other and just kick. Anyways, fellows, Paraguay´s merits are over estimated I lean toward Uruguay to win the title. Cheers!!
