Soccer picks: FIFA Women World Cup: Japan vs. USA

Getting to a World Cup Final for the first time is something to celebrate and to go crazy, knowing all the hard work made, knowing that it’s something meritorious and specially knowing that no one expected this big surprise. This is Japan´s situation right now that will face the scary USA women on a game that could mean the return of the Americans to the peak of the peak or could show why many think that in soccer nothing is wrote over the table. On the past editions the Americans have strongly failed, not getting to the dream final and being so far from their usual soccer style, one of them while being the host of the tournament something totally unacceptable for them since they have been always considered as the mother of this category.

Japan´s situation is ironic and surprising as well, they finished third at last´s years Women´s Asian Cup which is like the main position got it internationally. Imagine they haven’t won a single title on Asian competition, losing with teams which didn’t contribute with prime show as North Korea and Australia; is it curious or not? Maybe is because they are very practical, they just get interest on important tournaments leaving the secondary tournaments to the others and that’s for real a good point of view from Norio Sasaki´s approach, Japan´s coach. Undoubtedly, USA should be afraid of Japan´s intentions; this is not the first time that Japan´s motivation takes them to a prestigious place, once they get there nobody knows what could happen, remember that they have been fighters all their life. The best weapon could be the only weapon, if USA wants to be on the top of the top, they have to forget about their expertise and get to this game without feeling winners already. Remember, Japan´s player to watch is Horare Sawa and USA key player is Amy Rodriguez, both with excellent skills in how to treat the ball. My prediction goes toward Japan. Cheers!
