There would have been a cue of clubs lining up to take Torres for £50m a year ago and that is for good reason.

A game like this could be the perfect place for the misfiring hit man to get back on track. With David Luiz touting his fellow countryman Santos striker Neymar there could be another shake up at the front for Chelsea come the end of the season.
