Two quality pitchers in Dodgers Stadium this evening

The two pitchers taking to the mound this afternoon are both class acts, Clayton Kershaw is 5-3 with a 2.96 ERA this season so far, a record that with a better side would actually look a whole lot better, a lack of support in the run department but as a pitcher going deep into games and keeping it tight, Clayton Kershaw will do that. On the mound for the Florida Marlins is Ricky Nolasco and I will admit, he is the key to both of my bets in this game, no pressure then Ricky. He is 4-0 with a 3.04 ERA so far this season, and after a couple of no decisions against his name, he pitched a cracker last time out against the Giants, going 8.1 innings, 111 pitches, giving up just the one earned run off seven hits. In the four starts on the road this season, Nolasco is 3-0 with a 3.49 ERA and against teams struggling for runs, he can be brutal and he is going to need to be this afternoon, the marlins Bullpen has had a lot of work over the last couple of days, especially yesterday, so Nolasco has to go deep into the game here. Two quality pitchers on show, and I feel a tight game , as do the bookies, 6.5 is still a fairly new line in baseball, but I actually feel this may be under that total.
