LAST year’s Derby Italiano winner Crackerjack King could have his first start in Britain in the Coral Eclipse following his transfer to the expanding Newmarket stable of Marco Botti.
The four-year-old colt left Botti’s brother Stefano on Monday after ending his career in Italy with a Group 1 victory in Sunday’s Premio Presidente della Repubblica following Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock’s purchase of a half share in the horse.
“One of my owners from Australia who owns Jakkalberry bought 50 per cent through Blandford Bloodstock,” said Botti.
“Once he is in the yard we will see how he settles in.

Blackburn are much improved at Ewood with just 1 defeat in 5 and theyre massive at 8/1 (Paddy Power) to win but I think they are more likely to draw, 4/1 with BetVictor.
Sir Alexs side are title masters but this could be one slip up on their path to glory.

TRAINER Ken Kozaki has expressed some concern about the condition of his Dubai World Cup second-favourite Smart Falcon after the seven-year-old lost 20kg on his journey from Japan.
Owned by Toru Okawa, Smart Falcon is on a nine-race winning stretch dating back to November 2010 and is the general 5-1 second favourite for the World Cup.
Smart Falcon arrived in Dubai last Thursday and speaking on Wednesday Kozaki said: “He’s a little bit tired after travelling so we try to get him back to the best condition.
“He lost around 20 kilos but we still have two or three more days to gain the weight.”
Smart Falcon is one of three Japanese contenders in the World Cup alongside Transcend and Eishin Flash and Kozaki added: “We have three top horses and last year he had a happy season so now we are here so we hope we are having a chance to win but it’s tough.”

Ladbrokes are quoting 5/1 about Jose Mourinho being installed as Tottenham boss and 3/1 to be Chelsea manager for his next job.
Its a 7/1 chance that Mourinho is the man to take over the helm at Old Trafford and replace Sir Alex Ferguson.
Jessica Bridge at Ladbrokes said: Theres no doubt that AVB is under pressure but all fingers are pointing to White Hart Lane.
