Its time. Drafts are really starting to get serious as the preseason winds down. Some of the preseason action has given us reason to believe in the unheralded youngsters while there have been some serious stars absent enough for the fantasy folks to start worrying. Do you draft Peyton Manning the same spot you would have with his injury uncertainty? How about Maurice Jones Drew and his knee dilemma? Are handcuffs more important now? Im not here to draw out all the scenarios, the answers to all the questions, but Ive definitely come across some differences in opinion.
The mother ship, ESPN, is the biggest fantasy center around.

There are always a few amateurs who make it to the British Open and when they do they earn all the respect from their playing competitors and rivals the same and the professionals in the field admire the way they play and that they are still loyal to the game due to not having joined the paid ranks like themselves. The few amateurs that actually make it into the final field will compete for the Silver Medal which is awarded every year to the lowest finishing amateur in the field whether they make the cut or not has nothing to do with it all. This week on the ATP circuit we have a total of three tournaments and only one is being played on the US continent that event is the Farmers Classic which is known in the tennis world as the Los Angeles Open. The two other events this week are the Credit Agricole Suisse Open which takes place in Switzerland; the other ATP tournament is the ATP Studena Croatia Open and no need to say where this is being played the title says it all Croatia!
The first time this tournament was held was in 1927, when it was played at the Los Angeles Tennis Club; with Bill Tilden winning the tournament.

After twenty days of hard and intense competition, things must go to an end. The sweet final of the Copa America just arrived with a game that nobody in the soccer world community expected. Uruguay with a lot of looseness beat Peru in the semi-finals, booking their ticket to Buenos Aires. Meanwhile, Paraguay tied with Venezuela the whole game and won their ticket on penalty shots.
The game will take place on the just closed stadium “El Monumental”, remember that a one month ago or so RiverPlate got descended to the second division, making the crowd went out of their mind and crazy incidents that made the authorities closed this magnificent venue for the Copa America except for the final. One thing I really love from any World Cup soccer, is when big teams from Europe and South America facing each other on their debut, meaning that the game will be closed; intense and attractive. Following the action of the U-20 World Cup, next July 30th the group B will shine their best suits when Portugal meets Uruguay at Cali.
Two teams with great performances on the past; winning the title or at least finishing on the last four. In Portugal’s case, they have won the title twice, one of them being the host and it was in 1991 when they defeated the feared Brazil by penalty shots. T Read the rest of article…
